HOCADEO is empowering thousands of poor but active women to access financial services and enable them boost their small businesses in communities where they live. HOCADEO through the Promic project aims at empowering thousands of poor but active women to accesses financial services and enable them boost their small businesses in communities where they live. In 2021, a new area was created expanding to Promic 3 which is currently working in Kikoora in Kakindo Parish. Promic 1 which was entirely in Hoima district was also put on halt so that major recoveries can be achieved from the loan arears which had accumulated. HOCADEO managed to make a monitoring visit in Promic 2 and 3 to its clients who benefited from the Promic loans to see the progress of their business. The findings indicate good progress and growth of the businesses of its beneficiaries.
