Iron beans for school fees

Kikobe Sarah a resident of Mukaiha village, Bwijanga Sub County in Masindi District knew about MENU project in 2019A, during the awareness drives to promote biofortification of Iron Beans and OSPs. She picked interest in the project and started as a vulnerable farmer and in 2019A graduated to a commercial farmer where she bought 30kgs of iron beans and planted on 1.5 acres in agreement with the Nyamigisa Girls School to supply iron beans for fees exchange for her daughter. Sarah harvested 367 kgs valued at 660,600/= and exchanged them for school fees.  I thank HarvestPlus through HOCADEO for supporting the education of my children
